Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information Room Code Games LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use our website or play our games, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Room Code Games LLC is a game studio registered in Utah, USA. You can reach us at contact@roomcodegames.com.
Our website
Our website, roomcodegames.com, does not use accounts, cookies for tracking, or advertising. When you visit, our hosting provider may record standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed. This is normal server logging used for security and to keep the site running. We do not sell or share it.
If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. We do not add you to any mailing list without asking.
Our games
Our games are designed to work without you creating an account with us. Depending on the game, we may process:
- A display name or nickname you type in to play. Choose whatever you like; it does not need to be your real name.
- Gameplay data such as scores, choices, drawings, or answers you submit during a session. This is shared with the other players in your session as part of the game and is normally discarded when the session ends.
- Temporary session details such as a room code and a connection ID so your device can stay connected to the game.
- Crash and performance reports that help us fix bugs. These contain technical details about your device and the error, not your identity.
We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or combine it with data from other companies to build a profile of you.
Platforms and stores
If you get our games through a store or platform such as Steam, the Apple App Store, or Google Play, that platform handles your account, purchases, and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive only what the platform shares with developers, which is typically anonymised sales and usage statistics. We never see your payment information.
Online play
Some of our games connect your devices over the internet so that players in the same room, or in different places, can play together. To do that, your device sends gameplay data to our servers and to the other players in your session. We keep this data only as long as needed to run the session.
Children
Our games are made for general audiences and do not require any personal information to play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
- Session and gameplay data: deleted when the session ends or shortly after.
- Crash reports: kept for up to 12 months so we can track down bugs, then deleted.
- Emails you send us: kept as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contact@roomcodegames.com and we will respond within 30 days. Because we collect so little, in most cases the honest answer will be that we hold nothing tied to you.
Security
We use standard protections such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who can access our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we also design our games to keep as little of your information as possible.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will also note it on our website or in the affected game.
